The art of selling wasn’t a path I foresaw. From the smallest country in mainland Africa, The Gambia, my passion was centered around sport- especially basketball. I knew to make it out of there and be seen, I had to put in the work and try to excel beyond my capabilities. This resulted in obtaining a scholarship to play in St Pete’s, Florida and Concord, North Carolina.
Excelling beyond my capabilities presented itself in sales as I turned a new page, post college as a collegiate basketball player. At first, sales at a Fortune 500 company was exhilarating and yet I felt there was a disconnect between the management, the team and the customers. The product trumped customers individual accolades trumped team’s achievement.
My personal ethos has been centered in partnership. In finding partners in everything I do, I started my own sales agency knowing the people will be at the very center of my work. My employees are my partners so are my clients. As I master the art of selling, it is my mission to bring forth the skills, attributes, and attitudes needed to create great sales people and entrepreneurs.
